ABOUT ME
I'm very humbled to be apart of this thing called hip hop. It’s a blessing. Whether its rap, or trap, or drill. Music has always been there for me when no else has.......I feel like music raised me as much as anything you feel me?
I remember we went from Lynwood, CA to L.A. During those childhood years i was exsposed to a sea of music, musicians, records, 45's........8-track cassettes gave way to cassettes gave way to cd's...........and the music lived in me.......It started to exscape when my brother started busting out crazy rhymes and clownin me...........he always made me want to be better..........my younger bro August Angeles...........somehow i figured how to pause mix a tape and create a beat out of a few seconds of music......with my bro rapping to keep place. It was during those times we both learned from each other. I began to figure out who I was as a mc. My name changed a few times, the last being Hi-Pro.......rappin wit Cardi Hard and the Last Onez......I remember opening for G Malone from Watts as well as Planet Asia.
When my grandmother moved to North Long Beach, I started branching out and meeting other artists, getting into cyphers, started bangin. I was getting into fights and going to jvenile, eventually i got sent to camp for a couple birthdays. But I was always writing and making people listen to what I wrote. I have lost so many rhyme books........I learned how to do basic mixing and recording.........But ended up getting caught in the racial tensions sweeping thru the city. Green light on Blacks. I was with three of my friends when we got ambushed. Myself and Jamar got hit.........it was crazy. Jamar got hit three times and I got hit four. It was only God that we made it.
I recently got with Low Class Musiq Group and started recording with Provoke Badwayz. My first official album will be a EP, Norfstar. After that will be another album, Tha Thirst.
One thing I look forward to is getting together with other artist and use my writing skills to help them create a legendary track, without actually getting on the track myself. I have a lot to offer when it comes to bringing thoughts to words, I'm a natural writer why not get paid for it.. At the same time as I'm growing so are my other intrests. I'm looking into artist development. But make no mistake........I'm here to make good music and entertain at the same time.
